Gino Marchetti opens the first Papa Ginos location at 430 New State Hwy in Raynham, MA with a 12-table dining room and a menu of 18 dishes — all made from family recipes.
Papa Ginos wins "Best New Restaurant" from the Plymouth County Dining Guide — validating Gino's vision and putting the restaurant on the regional map for the first time.
The original Raynham location undergoes a major expansion, doubling its capacity to 80 guests. A dedicated catering division is launched to serve weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Papa Ginos launches its first website and online ordering system, becoming one of the first independent restaurants in Massachusetts to offer digital menus and table reservations online.
